Where to eat and to stay in Lisbon!

Sunday 5 June 2022

Heyaa! I am here to share with you some tips that made my trip to Lisbon much more enjoyable! My favourite restaurants and My Hotel!

There is nothing that makes me happier than great food + nice drink, so I was in the perfect place, right? Yeah, I had the ball! Portugal is one of the best countries for food that I have ever been to, not sure if it is because it reminds me of Brazil or if the summer vibe helped… but I have to confess that it is on my top list!

Buonapolitano Restaurant

How much? 50, 3 courses for 2 people

Highlights? “Al grana padano” fresh pasta

The first thing that caught my attention was the burrata, as I am a cheese lover and burrata is one of my favorites I was so sure that was gonna be the dish of the night. The taste got even better with an Aperol Spritz.

The best pasta that I’ve ever tried, like… I’m not joking! “Al grana padano” with truffle sauce! OMG! It tastes like heaven! I’ve tried fresh pasta from many different places (including Italy, of course), but this one had my heart!

Tiramisu or Panna Cotta? Well, both were lovely! The place is a little bit inside of the main Street, which makes it the perfect location if you want to be in the centre with some peace. And I can not forget to mention about the staff, who are super polite and friendly.

Geographia Restaurant

How much? 50, 3 courses for 2 people

Highlight? Desserts (hard to pick one)

Insta: @geographia.restaurante

This beautiful place was the first one that I experienced in Lisbon, and I can say, it was an amazing start...

In this photo I am about to experience my main course, I went for Tuna and it had not only a beautiful presentation, but it was followed by an amazing taste.

For starters we ordered “Escondidinho” e “Bolinhos de feijoada”, both dishes are Brazilian and I can affirm that it was better than the most that I tried in Brazil. Sorry, just being honest.

The vibe! Love the athmosphere and the decoration! It brings together a combination of 4 different continents! Geographia pays tribute to the gastronomy that speaks Portuguese, with influences from Brazil, East-Timor, Cape Verde, Angola, Mozambique, São Tomé e Príncipe, Macao and Goa.

Well, everything was so good, but the desserts… WOWWW, the last time I tried a dessert as good as that was in Brazil, made by my Mom! I highly recommend the 4 cheesecake and guava, and also the chocolate mousse! Unreal! They are the highlights for me because I found it very hard to find really nice desserts in the majority of the places that I visited.

Editorial Terrace

How much? 55, 3 courses for 2 people

Highlights? Braised Tuna (and the view)

The first thing that had my attention was the view, but every dish that was coming to our table was surprising us because they were able to make something simple to became classic, beautiful and delish! Our favorite dish was the braised tuna, it was spotless, but the starters were also FAB!

Of course, the view! This restaurant doesn’t only have a tasty selection of dishes with a great value, but an amazing view which gives you that summer vibes. It is also an great place to sunset lovers.
I felt like it brought the experience to another level.

Metro e Meio Restaurant

How much? 40, appetizers + main course for 2 people

Highlights? Cocktails (Missing Summer was my fav)

Last but not least, if you are looking for the best cocktails in Lisbon, man… that’s the place! We have had such a nice experience trying some authentic cocktails. We started well with “Alice” and “A trip to remember”, but the highlight was the one called “Missing Summer”, the lavender essence makes it the most special drink!
The cocktails are around 9.
They have a large selection of appetizers, including several types of cheeses, for main I ordered a gorgeous steak, but they have the most famous sandwiches in town so write this down.

Lumen Lisboa Hotel

Yeah, we made a great choice! Lumen Lisboa Hotel was just what we needed, great location, several options for breakfast, lovely room with a massive bed and for morning sunbathing, a beautiful rooftop pool.

As a plus, every night, the interior garden of Lumen Hotel envelops you in an unmissable immersive experience of light and color. The  show happens at 10 p.m.
